Sci-Fi Comedy Movie Alpha Gang Adds Chris Pine, Lily-Rose Depp, & More
The upcoming alien invasion comedy movie Alpha Gang has added even more stars to its already star-studded cast, according to a recent report from Deadline.
Who else is in the Alpha Gang cast?
According to Deadline’s latest report on the film, Chris Pine (Star Trek), Lily-Rose Depp (Nosferatu), Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Mufasa: The Lion King), and Doona Bae (Rebel Moon) have all joined onto the cast of the film. It’s unclear exactly what their roles will be as of yet, as most of the movie’s details are being kept under wraps for now.
Alongside the newly announced cast, Alpha Gang will also star Cate Blanchett, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista, and Riley Keough. The movie was originally announced last year and also featured the likes of Channing Tatum, and Steven Yeun, but Deadline notes the trio have since fallen out of the film for unknown reasons, including a combination of scheduling issues.
The movie, directed by the Zellner brothers, follows “a group of alien invaders sent to conquer Earth. Disguised in human form as a 1950s leather-clad biker gang, they are ruthless in their mission… until they succumb to the most toxic and contagious human condition of all: emotion,” according to the film’s logline.
The Zellner brothers, Nathan and David, are best known for their films Kumiko The Treasure Hunter, Damsel, and 2024’s Sasquatch Sunset.
