Stranger Things Star Has Fans Worried About [Spoiler’s] Season 5 Fate

One of the Stranger Things stars has fans worried that their character might not be making it out of Season 5 alive.

Stranger Things Season 5 will be the final entry in the popular Netflix series. Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things Season 5 is being divided into three parts, the first of which arrives later this month, while the other two will be released in December. The fifth episode will have eight episodes in total.

Caleb McLaughlin has played Lucas Sinclair in Stranger Things since the first season. In a video shared on Twitter by @_hellshee_, McLaughlin seems to indicate that he may not be in the Season 5 finale.

What did Caleb McLaughlin say about the Stranger Things Season 5 finale?

In the video, Mike Wheeler star Finn Wolfhard says that the finale was the hardest thing to film in Season 5.

“It’s annoying because we can’t really talk about it,” Wolfhard said.

McLaughlin then added, “My finale was different, so I don’t know.”

Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Noah Schnapp appeared to be somewhat confused by the comment, so it’s hard to say if McLaughlin was joking or if his character truly has a different finale than everyone else. Nonetheless, Stranger Things fans are now worried that bad things could be in store for Lucas.

The cast of Stranger Things Season 5 further includes Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair, Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna, and Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay.

The first part of Stranger Things Season 5 will be released on November 26, 2025. The second part arrives on December 25, while the third then comes on December 31.
