Marvel Star Wants a Solo Movie for His Character
Chris Pratt recently talked about how he wants to make a movie about his Marvel character, Star-Lord. Pratt was last seen as the Marvel character in the 2023 movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, directed by James Gunn. Although the film ended with a note that Star-Lord would return in the future, there have been no recent updates about him appearing in the upcoming sequel event, Avengers: Doomsday.
Chris Pratt wants to make a Star-Lord movie
Chris Pratt recently sat down for a chat with ScreenTime, in which he stated that he wants to make a movie centered around his beloved character, Star-Lord.
During the conversation, Pratt was asked if there is a character that he would like to portray again on the big screen. Pratt replied, “Oh man, I mean listen, we made a promise with Guardians of the Galaxy that Star-Lord would return. I think I would really love to make good on that promise; that would be awesome.”
When asked about what fans would get to see in a Star-Lord movie, Pratt joked around a little with the interviewer. It was suggested to him that the movie should have people listening to a lot of music, creating a pied-piper situation. To this, Pratt added that the movie will be called “Star-Lord Assemble Music Mission.”
Pratt also joked about what he thinks Star-Lord will be doing on Earth after his return to Earth. He said, “Probably denying the fact that he was responsible for the death of Iron Man, while simultaneously trying to convince people that he was a superhero at some point.” Pratt also said that Star-Lord, also known as Peter Quill, will be listening to a lot of artists and “catching up on the music.” He also added that Star-Lord would listen to music that was “From ’70s pop all the way until he came back, there’s a lot of music to catch up on.”
